You may be aware of the amazing effects of body sugaring for hair removal, but if it is your first time sugaring Brazilian style, you may have some hesitations. At Elite Image Studio, our estheticians are body sugaring experts, and will do everything they can to make the process as comfortable as possible. Before your appointment, however, there are ways to prepare yourself to ensure that you are fully prepared for your Brazilian body sugaring.

Get the right length

In order to successfully sugar, your hair should be roughly ¼ an inch long. If it is too short, we won’t have enough hair to work with, and if it is too long, it may require a trim, which may cost extra.

Don’t tan

Tanning before your body sugaring appointment is not a good idea because it may cause your skin to look streaky. Hold off your tanning for a couple of days after your sugaring appointment. It is also a good idea to avoid going into chlorinated pools.

If it’s that time of the month…

Wait until after you have stopped menstruating before you get a Brazilian. While you technically could have the service completed, we don’t recommend it, as you are much more sensitive in that area at that time. This is the same reason that you recommend you exercise caution if you are pregnant.

Wear loose clothing

Your skin will feel sensitive for a period after your Brazilian, so you will want to avoid tight fitting underwear or pants. Wear something loose, comfortable, and breathable after your appointment.
With these previsions in mind, your Brazilian sugaring should go as smoothly as your skin will be. Contact Elite Image Studio to set up your body sugaring appointment today.
